I do so dislike the standards associated with age. Perhaps it is just my perception of things, but the older a woman gets this less she's regarded, when obviously it should be the opposite for both sexes. Age is associated with wisdom and all that, and perhaps I am not old enough yet to be considered wise but it seems that association only applies to males.
Which I can't complain about, wisdom tends to be the one thing men do have in excess when they are of an age where they are not flapping, immature roustabouts. And some women have simply condemned us all to be viewed as histrionic idiots.
But the actual point is that one must not be afraid of getting old, no matter if they are woman or man. Though if they are getting old and have no productively contributed to society in any way, then perhaps it is a problem.
Though I do take issue with those who attempt to contribute hahaha too young, because personal maturity is always needed in society and rushing to produce children or jumping at whatever pursuit one wants in life does not display personal maturity. If one does not grow to a satisfactory maturity level before one reproduces, they will be far too invested in their children and will not be invested in the betterment of their society.
Age should not matter in the grand scheme of things, but most unfortunately it does. I think that things will not change, but perhaps I will just not celebrate mine.

I should not talk to Frank. Ever. It is idiotic.
Twenty-four days. Thirty-seven years. I do not feel much different between 37 and 27. But it seems old. Why am I still worrying about this?
